Personal Care Assistant

We are looking for a new team member who has strong professionalism, integrity, dedication, technical abilities, and excellent people and communication skills to assist the Office Supervisor in daily operations in order to help seniors with their activities of daily living (ADLs) and report any changes in health. This position will work closely with the Field Supervisor and other support staff to ensure clients receive the best possible experience and care. This is a full time, hourly (non-exempt), often “on-call as needed” position to assist senior community members in their home. Over the years, PHS has established a diverse client base offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of client needs.

Follow a client’s care plan and documents ADL’s as requiredObserve, report, and communicate any changes in the client's conditionAssist with personal care (hygiene, dressing, etc.)Help clients with the self-administration of medicationsPerform light housekeeping, laundry, and assist with meal preparationTransport client to appointments and daily errands (varies by client)

Pre-Employment Requirements

Be at least 21 years old

Required Qualifications

1-5 years of relevant in-home care or skilled facility experience or equivalent
